Her role incorporates engagement, evaluation and continuous learning to demonstrate the impact of care coordination on families of children with complex medical, developmental, behavioural and social needs. Prior to her role at ACH, she spent many years working in both education and leadership roles with the provincial quality and patient safety education team.
5 5  * (% style="font-size: 14px; font-size: 12px" %)**Genevieve Currie**(% style="font-size: 14px;" %): Genevieve is parent advocate, nurse, researcher, and mother of two children with neurodevelopmental disorders. She is currently a tenured associate professor in the School of Nursing at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Genevieve draws upon her rich experience as a parent, researcher, and nurse in her program of research on the parents’ experience of caring for a child with complex neurodevelopmental disorders. She is presently a PhD student in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary studying parents’ experiences of caring for a child with complex care needs using narrative inquiry. Genevieve has authored several research articles on parent experiences with complex care challenges.
