His research focuses upon stemming the burden through optimizing their management in a variety of settings. Srinivas serves as Co-Chair of the WHO’s clinical research theme, responsible for refining and implementing a number of priorities related to clinical management of the outbreak. He is leading a national study of hospitalized patients with confirmed COVID-19 to determine effective treatment practices. Srinivas is also co-investigator on a number of other projects led by researchers across Canada who also received CIHR funding to study COVID-19.

4 +**Nicole Le Saux, MD**, is a Clinical Investigator at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa. She is an infectious diseases physician at CHEO where she is currently Medical Director of the Antimicrobial stewardship program. Her current research areas are efficacy of vaccines, and surveillance for vaccine-preventable diseases. Vaccines of interest include rotavirus, influenza, and pneumococcal vaccine. As an active member of IMPACT, Nicole is also involved in other targets such as the epidemiology of meningococcal disease, and vaccine preventable diseases. Other areas of research include antimicrobial use and antimicrobial stewardship in hospitals. and clinical guidelines for infectious diseases.\\
