She is a clinician in both adult and pediatric infectious diseases in Ottawa and Kingston. She holds a Royal College Fellowships in Internal medicine, Infectious diseases and Anatomic Pathology. Related to antimicrobial stewardship, she has written Canadian guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of otitis media and pneumonia, and osteomyelitis, as well as general antimicrobial use guidelines in pediatrics. She is the current Chair of Canadian Pediatric Society Infectious Disease and Immunization committee and current Chair of the Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship group of AMMI Canada in addition to a medical director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at CHEO. Research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and surveillance for vaccine preventable diseases through IMPACT.
