1 +Children’s Healthcare Canada is pleased to support Solutions for Patient Safety (SPS) on their “Journey Toward Zero Harm”. SPS is an international network of more than 135 children’s hospitals, which share the vision that no child will ever experience serious harm while admitted to a hospital. They believe that by putting aside competition and sharing safety successes and failures, everyone can achieve their goals faster. Currently there are 7 children's hospitals in Canada that are participating in this international collaboration.
2 +During this webinar will hear from three of the Canadian SPS members, the IWK Health Centre, CHEO and McMaster Children's Hospital. They will share their experiences in participating in SPS, with each centre showcasing a specific intervention that they have implemented. Our presenters will discuss their safety goals and progress, as well as discuss the value of participating in this collaborative to prevent harm.
