1 +**Margaret Ruddy, N.,B.Sc.N.,M.Mgmt,CCPN(C)** is the Associate Director of Nursing of the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Women’s Health Mission of the MUHC.

3 +She began her career as a pediatric staff nurse at the Children’s Hospital of British Columbia. After moving to Montreal, Maggie joined the Montreal’s Children’s Hospital as a critical care nurse and then as a member of the Nursing Activities Coordinator team. She then rose to the position of Nurse Manager in the Pediatric ICU at the MCH until being appointed as Associate Director of Nursing.

5 +For many years she has been the co-chair of the Emergency Measures Committee and the Code Orange Committee of the MCH. She’s co-written several publications related to Code Orange and emergency disasters and continues to be highly involved in disaster panning at the MUHC.

7 +Maggie is certified as a Lean Six Sigma – green belt and holds an International Masters in Health Leadership.
