This is the homepage for the Children's Healthcare Canada Child and Youth Mental Health Community of Practice (CoP).

The overarching goal of this CoP is to share knowledge, practices and information that will support improved access and integration of mental health services for Canadian children and youth.

The monthly meetings provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, identification of common challenges and the development of common solutions. As a collective we hope to:

  • Identify and share leading innovative Canadian mental health programs, initiatives and services
  • Look for collaboration points within the child and youth health service community and with external stakeholders and partners
  • Leverage CAPHC channels to support the child and youth mental health initiatives of partner organizations
  • Identify data sources relevant to child and youth mental health in Canada
  • Increase the relevancy of accreditation standards relative to child and youth mental health service delivery in acute care hospitals

Community of Practice members are from across the country and represent hospital and community services.

Check back to this page as we add presentations, links to external programs, and other relevant information.
