Last modified by Ann Watkins on 2016/03/10 21:52

This interactive webinar aims to explore the emotional impact of mistakes, and the feelings of shame a healthcare provider may experience following these events. We are excited to welcome doctoral candidate Diane Aubin, who completed a recent study of the personal experiences of nurses, physicians, residents and pharmacists at two children’s hospitals. We are also excited to welcome physician, and host of CBC's White Coat Black Art, Dr. Brian Goldman, to share his personal perspective and stories. The presenters will engage the audience in a conversation about their thoughts about mistakes, how mistakes impact health professionals, and what can be done to help those who make mistakes cope with the shame they feel.
