Synopsis:

In keeping with the theme of family engagement in patient safety, the CAPHC Patient Safety Collaborative is thrilled to welcome members of the SickKids Families as Partners in Patient Safety Committee to our webinar presentation  January 24, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm EST.

The Families as Partners in Patient Safety Committee (FPPS) was created to actively engage and empower SickKids staff and family advisors to identify, influence and take action on a wide range of patient safety issues.  We believe that children stay safer when their parents/caregivers are informed and involved in their care.  The presentation will describe how patients/families can contribute to patient safety and will highlight some of the accomplishments as well as future goals of the committee.
